I have an assignment for you. The following are “separates” that can be purchased at your nearest David’s Bridal store…hopefully there is one near each of you? Based on conversations with Chandra, we have decided upon black “separates” and all seem pretty flexible about the style, although we each have our own concerns based on body types. I need each of you by the end of April to go to David’s and try on the following:

Bottom:
Skirt Style: 81253
Soft satin A-line

Tops:
Top Style: 81243
Soft satin halter top, draped front, empire bodice.

Top Style: 81250
Soft satin strapless top, sweetheart neckline

Top Style: 81249
Soft satin sleeveless top, side ruched bodice.

Top Style: F82561
Soft satin pleated halter with beaded embroidery.

Top Style: F8999
Iridescent taffeta X-neck with embroidery and beading.

Top Style: 81222
Velvet strapless top, sweetheart neckline.

Pick 1 or 2 top(s) that fits your body type and email back to me your decision. If you see another top/bottom not listed here that you fall in love with, please let me know. The bottom should be a long A-line. DON’T PURCHASE ANYTHING YET! We are going to decide if there is a common theme to style chosen after everyone emails me back. We might all wear something different, go 2 and 2, 3 bridesmaids the same and MOH different…we’ll see. It’s really important to go before the end of the month…we will only have 4 months to decide, order and alter everything.

OK, due to technical difficulties, I didn't send out the blog info until now. All fixed and ready to roll :)

I am trying to get together with Chandra over the next month to go dress shopping. She has a "safety" dress, but is shopping to make sure 100%...and has a few ideas for the bridesmaids dresses.

She sent a link (click here) to black "separates". The top can be with or without spaghetti straps and is similar to the top of her dress. Let's try out the blog and see if you guys can:
a) follow the link and
b) leave a comment or two about the dress...or anything else
